Livestock plays an important part in diversifying the business. Sheep and cattle are grazed in both rangeland and intensive environments.

At present, about 7000 breeding ewes are run for production of wool and meat. With the addition of opportunistic purchasing when the season allows, about 12,000 lambs are sold annually to both domestic and export markets.

We have also been involved in specialty embryo transfer beef breeding with up to 700 breeders.

Improved pastures including lucerne, phalaris and clover along with native swards, crop stubbles and rationed feed in containment areas are used to maintain animal production.
